Known about this band a few years. They play Old Timey Riot Music for Dancing. It’s best played loud, while drinking. They have a lot of mp3’s on their website. Click their band name.
They don’t play much anymore, but have other bands. Regardless, “Mountain Dudes” is an awesome little album.
My friend tyler told me about his friend’s band. Guess couple of kids that decided they wanna get famous. Or maybe they were just bored. Made their way east, recorded some new songs in January. As the name implies, I think they mainly just ride trains and busk, but who knows. Worth listening to, pretty good recording quality if you click the link.
This is a video of my band from almost a year ago. Hopefully we’ll make some more and shit. When we get to Tallahassee we are gonna record with a standup bass and a clarinet.
These kids have a bass banjo. Only other time I’ve seen one was at a little music shop in Knoxville. Some of their shit is electric, and I don’t know how “punk” their influences are, but its a DiY Bass Banjo!
This girl used to hop trains, now she’s making that paper. First heard em a few years ago. Was gonna see them when I went thru NOLA this year, but I got mad schwilly and passed out on the sidewalk in front of our squat. I think there are pictures of that squat on LATFO.
Dank little ep- Awesome fuckin’ song. I don’t think they travel, but it is topless girls playing ukeleles. In the key of G-SPOT.
This is the guy from Johnny Hobo and his new band. Guess they are from Arizona. Says they don’t play any of his old stuff, so don’t ask-

Housey Band Outta Asheville. Posted up across the street from us one sunday. We couldn’t make any money, cause i couldn’t stop listening, so we walked down a few blocks.
I run into these kids every couple towns all across the country. They play shows. Its hard to busk with them there, because they already have 2 banjos, and harmonies.
